Very neat - a Series one with aus-spec fender mirrors. Looks like a real early car, prior to the ADR's subtly influencing things a bit.

Took my daughter up to Lobethal for the Christmas lights.

The car was redirected in 1969 from England to Melbourne due to thier rule changes. So the car is actually pre 1970 English car. It was one of only a few that the dealer failed to replace the mirrors with caps and instal one on the driver door.

Hmm - pre-"production line" car. I've heard rumours, but the yanks have always insisted there were no such cars. I read on the net once that approx 400 of these cars, built to check the build process, failed to sell in the U.K. and were shipped here. I knew the owner of HS30-0037, and it had non-standard struts, he had a bugger of a time finding some inserts that fitted.
